59 players showed up for the first Epic Poker $2k Turbo Event, a tournament open to the public and providing players eliminated from the Pro/Am Event an opportunity to play against some of the best talent.
The Matt Savage designed turbo structure kept the tournament fast and loose with the players having a great time while playing for a $112,100 prizepool. Eric Froehlich, Scott Clements, Dan Fleyshman were just a few of the players to survive to make the cash.
In the end it was Mike Watson who defeated Scott Clements in the heads up battle for the title and $39,240.
