Table Draw and Chip Counts for Day 3
When play resumed at the start of Day 3, there were 11 minutes left at the 2,500-5,000/500 ante level. Justin Bonomo, the shortest stack, doubled up on each of the first two hands, bringing his total chips to over 180,000. Because no players were eliminated during the first 11 minutes of play, the players’ stacks, as multiples of the big blind for the 3,000-6,000/1,000 ante level appear in parenthesis.

Sam Trickett came into the day as the chip leader, and only player over 1,000,000 in chips, but was unable to duplicate his results of the first two days. After a series of tough hands, the UK pro was eliminated in 11th place for $49,360.
Justin Bonomo began the day at the bottom of the chip stack and managed a few double ups before eventually being eliminated in 18th place. Huck Seed was also near the bottom of the leaderboard but worked his way through the field to make the final table.
Dan Fleyshman and Brandon Meyers made Day 3 after winning their Main Event seats via the Pro/Am tournament but neither was able to make the final table. Fleyshman was one of the first players to exit the tournament but Meyers outlasted half the Day 3 field, ending his day in 9th place for $70,960. This result will most likely move him onto the GPI 300 list next week.
The final hand of the night was a tough way to end the tournament for Adam "Roothlus" Levy. He spent most of the day attempting to build his chip stack but was not having much luck. Levy was among the final 7 players and pushed all-in with pocket queens. He was behind when David "Chino" Rheem called with pockets kings but vaulted ahead by flopping a full house queens over aces.
A collective grown came from the crowd and the players were stunned when an ace came on the river to give Rheem a bigger boat, aces over queens. Levy showed his class by taking the bad beat like a professional and the Day 4 final table is set.
Hasan Habib will return tomorrow with the chip lead after beginning Day 2 second in chips. Two of the hottest players in poker this year are still in contention on the final day, Erik Seidel and Jason Mercier are currently sitting in 2nd and 3rd on the Global Poker Index. One, or both, will pass Bertrand "ElkY" Grospellier when the GPI list is released next week.
Rounding out the final table are top poker players Huck Seed, Gavin Smith, and David "Chino" Rheem. They return tomorrow aiming for the $1,000,000 first place money and Champion's Ring in the inaugural Epic Poker League Main Event.
